About us

The Refuge LGBTQIA+ is a shelter for young queer adults in situations of exclusion, family breakdown, or exile in Belgium.

Thanks to our volunteers and our team of social workers, we provide a safe environment and personalised support to help each young person regain independence and stability. Through welcoming, support, and awareness-raising, we work towards a more inclusive and supportive society.
